Our Doctors

Carl L. Pew, DVM

Dr. Pew received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Virgina Tech: one in zoology and one in chemistry.  He took a break before going to veterinary school and moved to Michigan to work for Upjohn Pharmaceuticals.  He attended Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating magna cum laude with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree ('77).  Afterwards he worked in the metropolitan Detroit area before moving to Utah in 1981 and purchasing the practice.

Dr. Pew has been breeding and exhibiting Doberman Pinschers and Bull Terriers since 1968.   He served as an officer in many kennel clubs and is a licensed AKC judge of several breeds.  This hobby led him to develop the practice into a widely recognized canine reproduction center.  He is a principle in the international canine frozen semen firm of "Sires on Ice" based in New South Wales, Australia.  Dr. Pew and his wife Suzanne have a daughter, Audrey, and son, James, who both come to the office frequently.  They reside in Orem, Utah.

Suzanne E. Weber, DVM

Dr. Weber graduated from Brigham Young University ('99) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.  For her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, she started at Ross University in St. Kitts and then finished her clinical studies at the University of Minnesota Veterinary School ('02). Her interests include ultrasound imaging and dermatology.  She lives in Orem, Utah, with her two children, Audrey and James.  They love to come to the clinic and see the dogs and cats.  In her free time she likes to scuba dive, downhill ski, read, cook, and hike.

Christine Baysingar, DVM

Dr. Baysingar has four degrees: two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Monmouth College ('84), a Masters in Animal Science from Brigham Young University ('88), and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota ('93).  She practiced in Minnesota and Wisconsin for seven years before coming to Utah where she has been for ten years.  She has nearly twenty pets, including dogs, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabiits, hampters, and a canary.
