Our Staff

 

Roxanne Allen

Roxanne attended Utah Career College and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science - Veterinary Technician degree.  She loves helping animals and getting to know their owners in such an exciting environment.  She recently joined our staff as a laboratory technician and a surgery technician after working at Advanced Veterinary Care and Kaysville Veterinary Clinic.  She owns a sugar glider named Imhotep (Imo for short) and a Maine Coon cat named Dobby.

Lindsey Bott

Lindsey recieved her Associate of Animal Science degree at Brigham Young University - Idaho.  While in Idaho, she spent time taking care of injured horses.  She has worked at veterinary clinics in Amarillo, Texas, and in American Fork before coming to our clinic.  She has been with us for over five years as a laboratory technician, surgery technician, and receptionist.  She loves animals.  She and her husband have two chinchillas, and an Australian Shepherd/Queensland Heeler mix named Taz.  In her free time she enjoys being a horse back trail guide.

Ellen Brown

Ellen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Health at Brigham Young University.  She is a receptionist at the clinic.  She and her husband have three kids, a Standard Poodle named Socrates and two leopard geckos.

Emily DeVocht

Rachel Hart

Rachel graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology.  Her love for dogs led her to the clinic almost two years ago.  She works as a laboratory technician and receptionist when she is not in the office.  She is a graduate student at Brigham Young University for a Master of Public Administration degree.  She loves taking her Brittany dog named PJ for walks.  Outside of work she enjoys computers, reading, healthy cooking, and sports.

Wayne Herker

Wayne attended the College of Southern Idaho and received an Associate of Criminal Justice degree, then made a career change and went back to school at Utah Career College for his Associate of Veterinary Medicine degree.  After his specific training in critical care, he worked emergency medicine for ten years. Now he serves as a laboratory technician and a surgery technician.  His hobbies include moutain biking and fishing.  He and his wife have two daughters and a mixed breed dog named Moo.

Brooke Jolley

Skylar Larsen

Skylar is a sophomore at Utah Valley University, studying for her Bachelors in Biology.  She enjoys the first-hand preparation for veterinary school while she works on our kennel staff.  She has a cat named Tiger, and when she is not working or doing homework, she enjoys sports and outdoor activities.  She especially likes soccer, snowboarding, basketball, hiking, and art. 

Paige Levi

Paige is a student at Utah Valley University, studying biology and planning to go to veterinary school.  Previously, she worked at Family Pet Hospital in Payson and the South Utah Valley Animal Shelter before joining our staff, where she has been for five years as a laboratory technician.  She is from Spanish Fork where her Golden Retriever Lucy and her cat Bug live.  For fun she enjoys reading, painting, drawing, hiking and camping.  

Travis Pollock

Travis is a student in the Veterinary Technician program at Broadview University.  He grew up in a farming community, so he is used to helping to raise and care for livestock.  He works with us part-time as a technician and also as kennel staff.  He loves being involved with the healing of sick animals and particularly enjoys walking our boarders.  He lives with his Border Collie named Brandy and in his free time he likes to go camping, fishing, and hiking.

Jessica Powers

Jessica has taken some courses in medical terminology and medications/calculations at Bridgerland Applied Technology College.  She worked in Logan as a veterinary technician and learned the basics for the first time at a fast-paced clinic.  Then she moved to Salt Lake City and has now worked here for three years as a laboratory technician, surgery technician, and a receptionist.  She misses the opportunity to work on as many emergencies as she did in Logan, but has learned a lot about canine reproduction and pet surgeries while being with us.  She has a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever cross named Koda with whom she likes to swim, hike, and play fetch.   

Adrian Sorensen

Adrian is a student at San Juan College in New Mexico, working on her Bachelor of Animal Science degree.  She has been with us for nearly seven years as a laboratory technician, surgery technician, receptionist, and now as a reproduction assistant. She has two kids, an Italian Greyhound named Foxy, and two Weimeraners named Dax and Belle.  She likes to read, scrapbook, do crafts, hike, and camp. 

Hannah Wardle

Hannah attended Snow College and graduated with an Associate of Animal Science degree, then went to Utah State University.  She worked in Logan for two and a half years as a veterinary technician before moving back to Riverton where she currently lives with her Border Collie named Emily and an evil cat named Bageera.  She has been with us for two years as a laboratory technician, surgery technician, and receptionist.  In her spare time she likes to write, read, eat snow cones, and drink Dr. Pepper.
